The Carmine of Florence church and convent are very old, being founded in the second half of the thirteenth century. In the church,the Brancacci Chapel is a masterpiece known around the world for its frescoes of the Life of St.Peter by Masaccio and Masolino. Created between 1425-1427, the frescoes were left unfinished and completed by Filippino Lippi between 1481-1482.
