Museo di Palazzo Vecchio

Salons and private rooms sumptuously decorated by some of the most celebrated artists of the Florentine Renaissance, with antique furniture and exceptional works such as Donatello's Giuditta, Michelangelo's Vittoria and Verrocchio's Putto. Palazzo Vecchio, for over seven centuries the center of the Florentine Government, is now the city’s symbol. Erected in 1299 as seat of the Supreme Government of the Republic, turned into the ducal palace in the middle of the sixteenth century, Palazzo Vecchio is today the town hall of Florence.
