Museo Franco Zeffirelli

The Franco Zeffirelli Museum is open to public from 1st of October 2017 in the monumental Complex of San Firenze, converted into the city’s fil museum and located between Palazzo Vecchio and Bargello. The exhibition itinerary contains over 300 works, including scene sketches, costume sketches, opera set design models and costumes created by the Maestro over seven decades of career in theater and cinema. The visit culminates in the Inferno Room, where a short film made in full Hd is shown, animating the drawings that the Maestro created to give shape to his personal vision of Hell taken from the Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri. The museum hosts both permanent and temporary exhibitions dedicated to the most authoritative artistic personalities from all over the world.
