Museo Bandini di Fiesole

The Bandini Museum, inaugurated in 1913, houses the collection that Canon Angelo Maria Bandini (1726–1803), historian, philologist and enormously refined art collector, left on his death to the Bishop and Chapter of Fiesole. It is a small treasure trove of art, with the majority of works by Florentine and Tuscan artists from the 13th, 14th and 15th centuries. In Room 3 there are sculptures in glazed polychrome terracotta from the Della Robbia workshop, including the so–called Sant'Ansano by Andrea della Robbia and the roundel with San Giovannino by Luca della Robbia the Younger.
