The Gino Bartali cycling museum is a must for any lovers of bicycles and sports history. The museum dedicated to Gino Bartali is located in Ponte a Ema, where the great champion was born and began his sports career and, after the agreement signed between the Municipal Administration and Associazione Amici del Museo Gino Bartali (Association Friends of Gino Bartali Museum), the management passed to Palazzo Vecchio and the museum was incorporated among Florentine Civic Museums.
The building was completed in 2006 and spreads over three floors covering an area of more than one thousand square meters.
